Ever since Carol was 13 she has been allergic to any jewelry that was not at least 20K gold. So, jewelry buying was never a part of her life...until 5 years ago when she bought a few pieces to compliment the stained glass in her shop. Her Ocracoke customers loved the jewelry, it was beautiful, classical, fun and offered at a reasonable cost. A passion was born! Carol has since expanded the selection of vintage jewelry at Ocracoke Restoration and studied many aspects of vintage jewelry collecting quite a library of reference books along the way. She is always on the lookout for jewelry her customers will love and spends hours every day searching for new pieces to share.
